Job Description

If this sounds interesting, then Nedstar might just be the place for you! Note that this is an onsite position based at our office in Amsterdam.

About the role and key responsibilities

As a marketing intern, you will be an integral part of our marketing team. You will work closely with our Content Marketer, brainstorming ideas together, and supporting them by producing and implementing new content on our website. Additionally, you’ll assist with other projects, such as event management, HubSpot lead process management, data enrichment, and social media management. You will be supported by our ambitious, highly motivated, multinational team in our great office located in the heart of Amsterdam.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and optimizing various content formats, including social media posts, blog articles, emails, and more, with a focus on the ethanol industry.
  • Developing visuals to accompany content, such as infographics and photos.
  • Managing content distribution channels, particularly for social media, email, and the website, focused on ethanol-related products and services.
  • Assisting in the planning and coordination of events.
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure all content aligns with brand messaging and positioning.
  • Supporting lead qualification and data enrichment within HubSpot (no experience needed).
  • Staying up to date on industry trends and best practices in content marketing within the ethanol industry.
  • Engaging in additional marketing activities that peak your interest!

What we are looking for

  • HBO or university student currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, psychology, business administration, media, or a related field.
  • This is an onsite opportunity for six months, starting as soon as possible.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of a second language such as French, Spanish, German, or Dutch is a plus.
  • A true NedSTAR: a flexible, adaptable team player with a work-hard/play-hard mindset.
  • Agile and organized, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Willing to take on responsibility, even outside of your usual scope.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Willingness to learn tools like Canva, HubSpot, Craft, and Trello.
