What is organic grape alcohol?

Organic grape alcohol (also known as grape neutral alcohol, grape distilled spirits and 190 proof grape alcohol) is ethanol produced from grapes. It is usually a bi-product of the wine industry, being made from those parts of the grape leftover from the winemaking process. It is also neutral and therefore has no taste or smell. Our organic grape alcohol contains 96% alcohol per volume.

Not only is organic grape alcohol a 100% natural product. Being a wine-making bi-product, it is also extremely environmentally-friendly, as it makes use of something that would otherwise go to waste. This makes it particularly attractive to a growing number of companies and consumers for whom sustainability is a priority.

Organic grape alcohol benefits and uses

Having no taste or smell, organic grape alcohol is perfect for use in a range of traditional drinks, including sherry and other fortified wines, pomace brandies such as grappa, and spirits such as gin and vodka.
