About the role and key responsibilities

As a Logistics Coordinator at Nedstar, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include meticulously planning shipments to guarantee on-time delivery, cultivating strong and mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers, external partners, and internal stakeholders, and leading efforts to manage and minimise errors in our processes.

With your keen eye for detail and proactive approach, you'll be instrumental in signalling and swiftly resolving any logistical hiccups that may arise, ensuring uninterrupted operations and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you'll take proactive steps towards implementing automated processes, streamlining our operations for greater efficiency and effectiveness. Drawing on your experience and expertise, you'll contribute to the continuous improvement of our logistics operations, driving us towards excellence in every aspect of our supply chain.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan and execute orders. This involves assessing demand, making bookings, and organizing bookings with suppliers.
  • Follow up on operational tasks. Includes administrative work, follow-up with suppliers and shipping lines, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Processing documents and updating our ERP system.
  • Driving digital process improvements, optimising our logistics operations for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Your profile

As a Nedstar Logistics Coordinator, you play a pivotal role in our quest for operational excellence and market expansion. What we are looking for:

  • Education or experience in supply chain management preferred, demonstrating a solid grasp of logistics processes and supply chain operations.
  • Account management skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with clients and partners.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • 1- 2 years minimum work experience in a professional setting
  • Detail orientated
  • Being able to have an helicopter view
  • Team player/flexible/adaptable/work hard-play hard
  • Ability to thrive in a highly international and multicultural environment, effectively engaging with internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to drive collaboration and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Empower decision-making through proficiency in Excel and data analysis, complemented by IT infrastructure experience.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills and attention to detail to swiftly identify and solve problems, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Have a proactive learning mindset to excel in dynamic work environments while staying updated on industry trends.
  • Bring dedication, adaptability, flexibility and energy, maintaining high levels of motivation and commitment to achieving goals.
